My parcel was returned to sender — what happens now?
When a courier cannot hand your parcel over in person, it is usually left at a nearby pickup point. Those points only hold a parcel for a few days — often four — and if it is not collected in time, the book travels back to us.
Notices do go missing: a card that never reaches the letterbox, an email in the spam folder, a phone number with a typo. If your tracking has stopped moving, or if a delivery date has passed with nothing in your hands, write to us at help@mysocialbook.com straight away with your order number. The sooner we hear from you, the more likely the parcel is still waiting at the pickup point rather than on its way back.
Once a parcel is back with us, we will look at the options with you: a new shipment to the same address, or a shipment to somewhere a person can receive it in hand — your workplace, a relative, a neighbour. Reprinting and reshipping takes a few days, so choosing an address where someone will be there is what makes the difference on the second attempt.
